Everlasting Summer ??

Wow, nice work! You did a great job cutting him out and you also definitely have an eye for color because the background matches beautifully! ^^

As far as making it "better" I think the first step would be to take out the grass in the foreground. For some reason it's kind of like a brand of noobishness no matter how fitting it is or how well it's used.

Also you might want to think about adding some textures or gradients to it to bring in the purple and turquoise in his outfit, this would be especially good for the text which is a little too simple compared with the rest of the wall. If you really want to go crazy you could also try adding borders, shadows, quotes, etc.

Overall I really think you're doing great! Keep up the good work! :D

Really nice work...although the grass doesn't fit well into the picture itself.... But otherwise i will say that that wallie is better than any of mine....
Keep up the good work.....

Revival

Trying is the first step to becoming a great wallpaper artist ^^

How flattering to see I helped to inspired you, that makes me very happy
and keeps me wanting to wall more <3

I looked over the wall and it's got really nice extraction, though it is
jagged still on some more areas. For that you could smudge slighty on the outline
of the image, or just blend it more...like blur and then soft light/overlay.

You are on a good start with color for the background but the background unfortunately
just doesn't go well with the scan.

I'd recommend trying a more basic abstract look, just to start off.
Textures and some brushes, remember not to over brush because the quality
drops and it just looks too crowded. You don't want to confuse and give the people looking
at the wall a headache XD

I also have some links that might help you to get more ideas
and more creative juice flowing in you :3 -

Hi :D

I agree with Kitten's post, and I would also like to give you some scan extraction and cleaning tutorials with techniques that I use in my wallpapers. Hopefully these will help you as much as they have helped me in the past.
