I was wondering how many other people like yaoi and/or shonen ai. I know that i love it i think its cute(and its kinda hot ^__^') Does anyone also know what other ones are going to be released over in America anytime soon? Well that's about all I have to say for now ^__^ Thanks

I'm not a real fan, but i don't dislike yaoi either... Most of the time, i consider the bishies are gay because i can't stand the girls in the show... ( as in Gundam Wing... Poor Heero deserves better than this relena! evreybody deserves better than relena! ...)

well, u might be right at the increasing yaoi/yuri.......but also not the increasing gay/lesbian shows airing during the last couple of years on american television as well.....this is mainly because gay men is being targeted by mass media since they r the ones who r williing to spend more on themselves....and im not sure about th situation in japan....but i can imagaine something similar

It's not bad... but I can't say it's my favorite either... as far as american realises go... I think Gravitation is it, but there are quite a few subbed ones like my favorite Yami no Matsuei or the manga Demon Diary ( which is just shounen-ai, but is rather cute)

I'd feel like a hypocrite if I couldn't appreciate shounen ai. It doesn't really turn me on like other things, but hey, it's romance which usually means drama and comedy, so sure, I'll be there. Yaoi, I don't know, but probably not - I haven't seen any to my knowledge but what I've heard is it's just the sex for gratification. I've got no beef with pornography, but unless it gets me going I don't care. But then again, I don't know .. I think my Kinsey score might be a 1.

I like Gravitation but then again it's the only one of this kind I've read (and watched) this far. It's cute, funny and smart. :)
Are there any other good non-sex (as in I-prefer-a-good-story) mangas or animes worth checking out? I know Clamp has some but I don't really like the style of the older ones. o_0

do you mean of yaoi? well there is a manga called eerie queerie (ghost in jap.. i think) I liked it and there is no sex then there's a manga called Only the ring finger knows.. that was cute too^^Then there's Angel sanctuary which had hints of shonen-ai...um.. Descendants of Darknees is another ^^ I love Hisoka ^^ Then there's kizuna and golden cain and skyscrapers of oz and Level C and my sexual harassment, but those are all well yaoi (hard core) I'm sure I'm forgeting some but oh well^^
