We could start by driving cars with less harmful gas emissions
We could also use fluorescent lightbulbs
We could swap out that ancient LCD or plasma with a new LED screen
We could start using solar powered windmills, tesla coils, or nuclear plants (though particularily dangerous to make a nuclear atom release energy) as an alternative to conventional power plants
We could recycle correctly (THE DORITOS BAGS ARENT RECYCLEABLE!)
We could try to HELP PEOPLE QUIT SMOKING

Oh ya and the war on terrorism. It's been far enough that the guys in USO have almost all control over Iraqi now, they shouldn't slack, but terrorists are still out there, and someone's gotta do something. It's hard to put troops and money into war, but it has to happen. =|
And NORTH KOREA shouldn't do missile testing! Poor South Koreans. There's a chance of a second Korean War because North Korean Leader Kim Jong-il has broken off ties with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak!
And all the countries that were communist in the 1960's and still communist, are POOR! Except for china, whatever but look at South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Phillipines! Those were countries in crisis post WW2, and look at them now, great economies, and democratic! South Korea's got stuff like Samsung, LG, and Hyundai!
If South Vietnam won the war, the economy would spike, but due to it's geographic location near china, that wouldn't be very likely, so Vietnam was screwed from the beginning.
You can even take a look at South American Countries and realize how bad their economies are, and their domestic qualities. Cuba? Haiti? *sigh...*
Enough of my ranting though, there's just a lot of problems in the world. *supersigh*

Dont bathe so long, off the tap when not in use, off lights in room when no one is in it, use public transport more (if possible, only person going to location and not late yet), dont burn stuff for fun, dont hurt nature when bored, gimmi your money ._. and use/eat stuff that can be decomposed unlike plastic.
Eating stuff that can be decomposed includes the orange, you cant eat the skin but it can be decomposed. Thats why my friend throws his oranges' skins into his backyard ._.
And if you think its not enough. Throw out your toilet if you have a shovel and a backyard (not recomended by me)

Most of these Ideas are great, but how about we start making up a plan on how to do it. For Example, to abolish Capitalism, we could all join a Lobbyist group for Socialism. For the Energy and Power Issues, I think that we should use a mix of Solar-Power, Wind Power, Hydro-Electric, and Geo-Thermal Power. And one last thing, try to make use of abstinence or sexual practices that won't require that the girl/woman gets pregnant

You can start by unplugging everything that you are not using. Even though its not on, it still wastes energy.
Do simple things like turning off the lights if you're leaving the room, don't leave the sink faucet dripping.
Save plastic bags you get from the grocery store, and use them as trash bags or something. Reuse water bottles by bottling your own water in them instead of buying more.
All of this is easy enough, and you don't have to spend a penny. These are just some ways to start. :)

Stop using diesel machines (automotives and such) to prevent further progress of global warming. Use harmless devices that can't endanger the wildlife. And don't litter in our environment.

but seriously if governments wanted to save the earth they would've done it before, companies do since it reflects a much better image but their sole purpose is profit, people contribute but it is not enough... nuff said

We have some interesting ideas going on this topic. About the last one, I thing that maybe governments can do more. But we all have to do our share. I planted a tree outside my house, and my neighbor keeps trying to kill it, he stomps on it every time it grows back, he claims the leaves that fall from the trees makes his roof dirty. Government won't help in cases like that... But I can always plant another tree... I doubt that if everyone im my neighborhood planted one tree, the mean neighbor would be able to kill them all...

Maybe a single one, or a single idea cannot save the world, but in that case the strenght comes with the numbers... The more people do their share, the better things wil turn out to be for us all ^.^
