RE: groups and stuff, I did a round of posting in groups (I went through the entire "Art" category in the group directory and picked all the active groups with posts that were only a day or two old - plus the larger/ veteran groups - I know, spammage, but it was necessary OTL) and it seems that nobody has responded to a single group posting I've done. The groups are active with the occasional post of people's latest work (but then in the past day or so not many people have had new work... XD)
I've sent 4 rounds of PMs so yesterday was only the first official recruitment propaganda day :x More should be responding later today and tomorrow \o/

Cris25 - maybe Maple would answer that question better since she made it XD -

I was gonna make banners and promised them sometime today, but I forgot that I had to go out Dx So a bit of homework - I'll make a set later today when I'm back, in various sizes of course. So if I don't update the list straight away, don't freak out! It's because I'm not at home.

just curious about one thing- as far as the "source material" is concerned- is it Kunie Kanbara or some1 else and or will all wallers have a certain scan to use. or will it simply be an assigned theme and the wallers pick their own scan to work with.

Welcome aboard hagane28 and Lord DREAM ^^ Updating the list :3

Lord DREAM - it'll mostly be an assigned series of themes and from what I'm planning so far, it'll be free choice of scan. I'm trying to keep the rounds relatively simple to prevent confusion and mind-bending (the first round of TREC didn't help since people didn't realise DDR backgrounds should be more simple so people could read the arrows flying up the screen >_<). However, I might assign a particular set of parameters for scan selection in the later rounds (it narrows down as the competition progresses) - so it could be like "Range Murata" or "categories with less than 15 wallpapers" to "use this scan".

I can let everyone know in the first round though, it's free scan choice (no restriction whatsoever) - though the theme will restrict the walling.
Oh, and I'm allowing doujinshi/ Indy Art - you can either make your own, or get permission from the artist - this is for all the rounds :)
