The unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Not bad. I like when she gets crazy and has hallucinations and sees dead people and... ok, better read it xD

Calgon, take me away~!

Just read an amazing book by Jay Ascher... "Thirteen Reasons Why".

It is about a girl who commits suicide, but before she does, she records tapes explaining the 13 reasons that led to her decision. I really think that with the upsurge in bullying in American schools today that this book should be required reading for high schoolers because one of the main ideas is that even the smallest thing, such as not speaking up when someone says something mean to another, can send someone who is already teetering, over the edge. It really makes you think about the impact you have on people and looks at the consequences of actions.

The US Army Werewolf Sniper Manual, by the "Department of the Army"

The illustrations were priceless throughout, but it could have used a few more jokes while going through the nuts and bolts. Still, not a bad read for $1.60

Alice In Deadland by Mainak Dhar

It's a very good book with a twist on the thoughts of zombies and a twist on the tale of Alice in Wonderland. I'd highly recommend reading it if you get a chance.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution"

Just finished reading "The Fall of Five" by Pittacus Lore, the latest book in the "I Am Number Four" series.

Don't judge based on the film, the book series has so much more in terms of character development!

I'm reading The artist way by Julia Cameron. It's a hopeful book, maybe too optimistic in a way. But interesting.

SOON..

I've recently finished Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. Amazing first book. Currently reading the second installation of the book. Action packed, humor snippets in a few serious moments and character developments and so much secrets.

Mortal Instruments: City of Bones reminded me too much of Harry Potter for me to really enjoy it (it was kind of a game "so let's see which Harry Potter character or situation this reminds you") though I think it was an ok read. A bit annoyed by the revelation that was really Star Wars too though I suspected it.

Though I haven't read the HP fanfic the plot is said to come from, only read a great part of her Draco trilogy where her Draco mostly gave Jace's part of his background and character.

But the two next books were really a let-down. I absolutely didn't care about any character in the 2nd volume (and that made me praise more Rowling for taking care of some characters by putting them in danger and also cutting out some friendly ones) and became angry during the 3rd. Absolutely hated the "obvious" thing everyone see after it was told. I mean if all the people have to be told a familiar thing they see lot of time looks like another thing that they also know quite well, the said "obvious likeliness" is obviously inexistent or all these people don't use their eyes.

still reading the artist's way and starting too Dune (a quite slow beginning with it seems like a huge thing going out, and still not sure how to evaluate what happens).

Spent the past weekend with some serious RxR.

Read:

The Maze Runner Trilogy: Makes me think of the Hunger Games, but with a male protagonist.

Variant, and Feedback: interesting premise, but weak execution

Allegiant: weakest of the Divergent series. Was not a fan of the ending.
