Hey there MT guys sorry for disturbing... LoL
I am a lucky new owner of 2 Xbox360s and I have a question... xD
How do I copy songs or videos or any files from a usb flash device
to the hard drive of the xbox360... I have 2 of them and I don't know how
to use them... LoL I am a noob at Xbox360 system since its the first time
I use it... If anyone can help please tell me... Thanks... ;)

this is something regarding your question

According to Microsoft,
you can use a "compatible" USB flash drive or external USB hard drive to "transfer" XBox 360 save game files.

USB flash drives do NOT appear as "memory" devices to the XBox 360;
they instead appear as "removable drive" (file system storage) devices,
similar to an external USB hard disk drive.

In "Music, Video and Pictures",
either appears as a "Connected Device" allowing corresponding content playback within DRM restrictions.

So get a XBox 360 512mb or 64mb memory unit,
and only use it to store game/XBL profiles & saves.

Use a compatible inexpensive USB flash drive or compatible external USB hard drive to store or transfer everything else, or to make backups of your XBox memory.

this basicly eening no the xbox 360 doesent sapport file transferr from usb to hdd (this only works for xbox backup files only)

you can do what called a rip from a cd to your xbox hdd

and the only other way (this only streems not puts them on your xbox)

windows media player 11 can streem music to your xbox

(this will not hinder playing online games but it might make it a little leggy depending on how good your network connection is)

it usually doesent

so youve got one option for the xbox to put music on the hdd

make a cd and rip it to your xbox (i dont know if it will work for mp3 cds)

perform the 9199 update pack, it allows you to use a USB Flashdrive
see if you can copy songs from your flash drive to your harddisk
if not, you can buy a XBOX360 USB CORD, with that u can access your harddisk on a PC. it's cheap, probably 5usd or so

1.you can connect to LIVE, then the updating programme will start automatically
2.Try to play a new game, like ALAN WAKE ,or RED DEAD REDEMPTION, they usually contain an updating pack
3.download from http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/D/8/1D8C09BE-278E-41CD-98BE-EB9188128227/$SystemUpdate.zip
unzip it into the root of a USB flashdrive then plug the drive into ur xbox, the programme will start.

N.B. I recommand the third method. if you have played a pirate game, using method 1 will probably ban your game console. Some updating packs in game discs are imperfect, this may result in blank minifigure on screen.(the little cartoon figure will be blank, i do'nt know how to describe it, pls excuse my poor english)

After you install the 9199 pack, you can transfer your saved game data and profiles into your flashdrive ,you can also install games on flashdrive.
