Okay,
i can understand the character lenght gripe in the wallpaper comments ... ( i can really)
But i don't think you should have to write a small essay just to say .. " hello nice that we have you here.. on MT" to friends or new people.. in their guestbooks....

I agree on this count. :) For walls and scans 64 isn't a heck of a lot to ask, but there's not really a good way to make "thanks for the comment" or "welcome to mt" any longer than it has to be. ^_^'

I would rather go for a 32 characters minimum anyway.

Well...when you think about it, 64 characters isn't THAT much. And when saying something on someone's guestbook, you should at least write something like "Hi SoandSo! I really do love your artwork and want to see more of it in the future! Just dropped by to say that! ^_^;" That's 93 characters. So you can see that a sentence or two will basically fill out all of the criteria.

i suppose you have a point there Jinz, .. but it's hard to say against a newbie who didn't post any work. <g>
But if a friendly "hello" really is considered to be spam thats sad.
