Does any one know a good source for japanese magazines ? (not necessarily anime nor jpop ones?) I use to collect magazines from another places and lately found out that Japan have some nifty stuff... T___T I want them...but dunno where to get them>_<...HELP!

Aside from a local Japanese bookstore, I have no idea, really. But if you live in the Southern California area, I know lots of those bookstores ^^

local J-bookstores are a great place to look for mags. Like Kinokuniya or however you spell it. And like Tama said, in LA, go to Little Tokyo. :)

I picked up some mags at a thrift store in Canada...not very helpful though. Try used bookstores or something in the 'foreign' section.

In the U.S. a popular anime magazine is 'Newtype'.
It is a direct translation of the japanese version so its pretty close to being origional.Heres their web site: www.newtype-usa.com

If you like models and stuff alike you can find magazines at www.hlj.com,is a very nice place with nice prices as well, I imported a lot of stuff from them
