I start my dad's PC but its stuck in this screen:

It says:
PXE-E53: No boot filename received

PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
Invalid partition table

How can I resolve this?

It's trying to perform a network boot which won't work unless you configure it.
Go into bios and see if hard drive is present, then go to boot devices and make sure
it's on the list.

Ah I didn't know that. I was wondering what this was ^_^;
@ the op, to get into the bios you need to press one of the f buttons at the top of the keyboard right when your computer starts. (there's a black screen and writing). It will tell you press f2 to enter setup or something but it goes by pretty quick. Keep hitting the button till it works. ^_^V

first you should make sure that the hard disk drive is bootup priority no.1
If it still doesn't work, you should use a software (like partition magic) to check your partition table. Try to reconstruct the partition table, if the reconstruction process failed, it is terrible because you may lose all your data on your hdd.
