and these are:
1. Find the enemy: When you can see, or at least figure out where the enemy is based on the sound of the incoming fire, you can suppress more effectively.
2. Fix the enemy: Once you have ascertained a basic idea as to where the contact is, the last thing you want him to do is move, so you must make him so shit-scared that he doesn't want to move out of his position for fear of getting shot.
3. Flank the enemy: the enemy is now your bitch, they're not moving, they're pissing themselves, but they're in cover, so you can't very well kill them from where you are. Send some dudes to a place where they can gain eyes on the contacts so that they can...
4. Finish the enemy (or Fu** the enemy if you're into that sort of thing): Use your flanking force to kill the enemy with effective point fire.
