I have to agree with Haruhi. It
wasn't the first anime of its kind but it was popular enough to be a turning pint in anime, totally not referencing
a recent sankakucomplex article. >.> <.<
And K-on. You can't live
without seeing the first season of K-on.
And Clannad, well not necessarily
Clannad, just any Key anime really. Because Key.
Elfen Lied was epic but if I'm recommending for someone else then I think Higurashi is as bloody as I'd dare to go. Plus it's
fun watching people's reactions to the first season. The sooner you stop trying to figure out what the hell is
going on, the more you'll enjoy it.
Speaking of watching people's reactions, School Days always fun to see how people react to the last episode. I;m
not sure if I'd label that as essential anime though.
I used to like Death Note but
some friends kind of talked me out of liking it, oh peer pressure... =3
K that's moeness, ecpically sad love stories, and yandere/psychological thriller stuff....
I suppose some shonen fantasy crap stuff is missing.
Everyone should watch at least maybe 50 episodes of Bleach or so -that's essential.
