Hi.
I know this has been posted before and I have the same problem as the person in this link. And I saw that you say

but when I go to Notes there is nothing there. No buttons to click "Delete Selected" or "Purge All".
Please help.

Gone.

My suggestion would be to wait until you really get a note (that is, until there is a visible note you can see) and then click on 'purge all'. It should fix the problem.
