Can a moderator please identify the specific reason this was deleted? Also, why is the PM for deletion automated with a list of possible reasons instead of the exact reason?

Your scan is poor quality, therefore it was deleted. If look closely you can see jpeg artifacts on her hair, cloak, gloves, all over the scan.

When looking at the scan at 100% resolution, am not seeing these artifacts. Are you blowing up the image larger than that to see them?

I'm sorry you can't see them, because they are evident. Blowing up an image means that whatever image would look poor quality, it's a meaningless thing to do.
Try to look more carefully her hair or gloves.

Just to offer my own two cents - the low quality is most evident on that 'Dark Air' text - if you look at it more closely, you will see how blurry and pixelated it is, especially those white parts. Some groups use Topaz DeNoise on their scans which basically reduces the noise but it also makes everything look softer, more blurry and smudged, resulting in .JPG artifacts.

Opening a scan in Photoshop, etc., is helpful. If you zoom to 200% the scan will look poor as Anther mentioned. It will, however, make the lossy data more evident.
