"Vocaloid: Senbonzakura Curtain Raise" and "Vocaloid: Special Squad Sakura" scans

I've uploaded the scans two times, and was deleted two times, too!
The first ones were a mess, I admit, but I've cleaned and improved the second ones, but it was also deleted!
what makes me even more confused is that the admin didn't delete one of my scan (Vocaloid: Priestess and Demon) that is clearly has paper-fold marks on it (deliberately or otherwise)

I just don't understand on what account they deleted my other scans. I did try my best to clean it, and planning to do so with the others, so, please explain and, if possible, return the scan to the gallery. I just wanted to share what I have.

Unfortunately, all the deleted scans you posted were of poor quality. They are full of JPEG artifacts and have a "scratched" aspect. I don't have access to Photoshop right now and can't mark the most problematic areas on the images themselves, but if you want to see what I'm talking about, look near the areas where the lineart meets the coloring. Looking at the "cleaning", with the deleted images side by side, I only see that the second batch is darker (which still doesn't hide the bad quality).

Concerning the scan still in the gallery, the creases and quality are not bad enough to warrant deletion. It is, however, borderline.

If you can't handle me at my best, then you don't deserve me at my worst!

Here's the thing, I scanned the images using scanner.
The first and second ones ('Curtain Raise' and 'Special Squad Sakura') were already laminated by time I scanned them, does that have anything to do with the 'poor quality'? I admit I don't quite understand photoshop for editing (heck, I barely use it for anything, anyway), so, do tell me at which part I get it wrong (and, if possible, mark it too)

Well then this is the main issue. The light from the scanner's lamp is reflecting on the shiny image and distorting its quality. I marked on both scans where the main issues are:
Miku alone - bad compression (top), scratched-out patches (rest).
Group - girl on the top-left is full of artifacts, scratched-out patches on blonde girl and guy, brown-haired girl's red uniform is full of JPEG artifacts.

Here's how scans should look:
http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/691268 - the scan texture is not too obvious.
http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/688397 - the scan texture is obvious but it's consistent, and not too distracting.
http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/688181 - same.

Also, in regards to the contrast, it is actually better in the first batch of scans. The more recent ones (the ones I used above) are too dark and details aren't as visible.

If you can't handle me at my best, then you don't deserve me at my worst!
