Yay Bubble Bobble! I have a couple versions of that on a CD that I play every so often. We had Hero's Quest (I forgot which number now) which we never finished because we kept using the thief-type character to sneak into everyone's homes.
And Sam and Max. Aah, the witty, rascally dialogue of Sam and Max. That's probably my favorite.

i always love Turrican 2 for amiga
but as for dos games i like the clou and the old lucas adventures
like monkey island 1 and 2 indiana jones etc

Dude...it's all about Syndicate PLUS!!! Those 4 cyborg killers rules the WORLD!!

Which reminds me, how do you play these old dos games on Windows XP? They usually crash when I try to run them.

System Shock, UFO: Enemy Unknown & Terror from The Deep, Wing Commander, Doom, Tie Figher vs X-Wing are some that I remember. I can still play them but they don't have sound.

Easy - download the DOSBox - you should thank Tele-fragd for that input.

Hmmm I only ever played Railroad Tycoon. I didn't understand how to play it but I knew that you had to build tracks and give the nearby towns their demands :)
hehehe... half the time I ended up with a rank of "Hobo" (the lowest). Once I got President though! (highest) Was a fluke though :)

.:Dark Lord:.

Magic Carpet from Bullfrog was my oldest game and quite a lot of fun. :)

Too bad the game speed is chained to the CPU-speed. I tried to play it on a 500 MHz CPU and the carpet was so fast that I flew 5 times around the entire world before I noticed what was happening.
