By own, you must mean bought right ? Well the only series I own that I have purchased would be the X tv series...I love it pretty damn much to spend over 50 dollars for each dvd...the series is 8 volumes long...so you do the math...
And honorable mention would be the Read Or Die oav that I got pretty cheap in a music store. I just adore Yomiko, she's too sweet.

hmm my current all time favorite tv anime is Princess Tutu, which i have all the fansubs of and 2 of the JP dvds so far. it's licensed to come out in the states so i'll be buying it when it's released here.
my favorite anime movie is Sennen Joyu/Millennium Actress that i own both the limited edition JP dvd and the US release.
the series i REALLY want to get is all of Kaleido Star but ADV is only releasing up to 26 so far so i might have to look into getting the JP dvds. >.<;

Well, so far I don't have any anime DVDs that i've brought from a US based company. The anime that I do have are either hong kong DVDs or old VHS ones. My favorite amongst my collection is the Crest of the Stars trilogy.

I have some anime too :) But not original, stuff my friends gave me.. my favorite is of course Fruits Basket, it's excellent, beautiful, with such deep emotions.. and it has the cuttes anime characters I've ever seen, Kisa-chan nad Momiji-kun!! And of course, my one true love, Kyo-kun ;)
