Well, I usually don't hold much of Disney's fairytales - they're too far away from the original legends (like Pocahontas or Cindirella), but I love Grimm's fairytales!

Hmmm, to tell you the truth I don't like fairy tales that much now. I only like them because of the songs. ^^ Maybe if I based it to the songs I mostly like disney's mulan. ^^ I love the songs there.^^

I just can't read this question without thinking about the Lion King. I've got the VHS, the DVD Platinium Edition and the Soundtrack CD ('cause it rocks!!!).
Apart that, I liked Aladdin pretty much. But The Lion King is still on top top top.

My favourite will always be 'The Little Mermaid'. When I was growing up as a teenager I really identified with Ariel's desire to find out more about the world above or in my case the world in general. BTW Anastasia isn't a Disney fairytale it was directed by Don Bluth, but 'tis a common mistake :)
