Did you check your task manager? You could have too many background programs running.

that happened to me not too log ago. Nothing I did worked. It might so virus, but might not be. The best way, if you're an XP user) is to just switch members andf destroy the one you use. That did it for me, all the other members worked fine, so I made a new one.

Can be because of severeal reasons.
1. Computer's disc space is nearly full.
2. Been a long time since you did a computor "sort-through" or how you say it in english 8p
3. You might have a Trojan.
4. You might have Viruses.
5. You might have spyware which your current anti-spyware doesnt remove.That's all I can think of for now 8P
So what anti-spyware have you got installed btw? 8P

If you're ever curious about how much space you have left... Go to My Computer, and highlight the C drive thing. Might show up, depending what computer you're using. I'm using 98. My friend Unknown_Entity, would know a lot more than me... so I'll prolly ask him later if nothing is solved.

Don't forget to defragment your hard disk sometimes.... diskeeper lite is a good soft for that ;)

Plus, I recommend reformatting after a few months. Windows registry always gets clogged up.
