i recieved a automated message from the bot Chii telling me that my cover of FMA
(for divx) had been deleted for the next reason :
"-The image was directly taken from another website or an image gallery,
with or without modifying"
Nevertheless, i can conform that i have not took the image from a website or an
image gallery. it's my creaction and i can proove it... so if someone can
explain me why the cover has been deleted, I would be very grateful to him
And if divx dvd cover is not allowed, please tell me ^^
I have one problem with that bot too, but this bot give another

"Your submission entitled Kawarajima Koh CoverFront was removed from
Minitokyo because it was exactly identical to a previously posted image.
-Only in case that your version was of higher quality or provided a better
description, which was deemed not the case, would have caused the previously
image to be deleted.
Please browse the image galleries prior to uploading images."
And i search if the image was in the gallery, but I not find "the same
image" that the bot say, what's the problem?
Keep in mind an image might be in a different gallery if it was done by an
artist. For example, if let's say toni taka does an image of evangelion, you
might find it under the tony taka gallery as well. Anyway if an image gets
deleted with that reason, rest assured that it IS a double. The bot does not
delete. We mods delete the images and the bot then notifies you of that. For any

Also another consideration. Since scans are ere to be used in wallpapers, if a
scan has a different background but the charatcers are the very same and in the
same pose, do not upload it ...
I uploaded a Scan of the Kawarajima Koh Portfolio ArtBook that NOT WAS in the
Image Gallery of this Artist, then, why you delete that scan if the scan has a
very good quality?
As said, if an image got deleted it was either a double (maybe in another
gallery.. sometimes this is inconvenient I know but with minitokyo as it now
there's littla that can be done) or it was not of good enough quality. Please

Your wallpaper/scan has not been deleted for no
apparant reason, or for a stupid one! If your scan got deleted, it was either of
bad quality, had too much junk on it or it was (and this is the main reason) a
double post! Please keep in mind that the first post may not be in the same
gallery as you posted yours in! As for walls, if the res is poor, or it's of bad
quality, or little has been done on the wall, it will be deleted. I konw it
sucks, but that's the way it goes. Your deletion was because it managed to hit
one or more of these reasons.
And while I am not a moderator, I have been a member for a while and the amount
of times I have to see a mod repeat him/her self over something that botChii
states sickens me. The amount of times Kel had to repeat the same thing in this
thread alone is what I believe an insult to him. I'm surprised this thread
hasn't been closed yet either. Anyhow, all members should have read the User
Policy ( http://support.minitokyo.net/policy/
) before posting anything on MT. The user policy states what not to post on MT,
and if you posted something that falls within the what-nots, it'll be
deleted.
