My favorite Street Fighter character would have to be Ryu. He shows no fear for anything.

id say ken is my best character when playing the game. however...akuma is my fav character...the guy is friggin awesome. he looks really cool and his moves are wikid powerful.

i vote for ken because he was better than ryu with the shoryuken, espcially in sf2 turbo. and in 3rd strike he seems to be better than ryu in that. SA III is the best to use : D, besides that for originality iin character design i would say chun-li, first female fighter and all.

Voted "Other", truth be told I'm not even sure who, it would either be Q, awesome animation, awkward moves, excellenet design and very fun to play with, or M. Bison, leader of Shadaloo, he's just the ultimate fighting game villain from looks to mannerisms though gameplay-wise too bad he's a pushover...

Regarding the characters you mentioned, my favorite of the bunch is Akuma.

Not wanting to be nasty or anything but actually the first female fighter to appear in a videogame was "Star" in Ye-Ar Kung Fu (sp?), ironically similar to Chun-li only dressed in red and threw shurikens, hence the name.

I would have to say that Sakura is my 1st. favorite character and Ryu the 2nd.

Chun Li is my favourite. She has got nice moves and I also like her style.

I would have to say Ryu because he is most all around character. Same with ken, but i think Ryu looks cooler, lol.

I've got to say Ryu. He's been a fav since the series came about... But that's not to say that I don't have much respect for Sakura. She rocks the house in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 with her uppercuts and her transformation into dark sakura.

Chun Li because i am awesome with her and she's like... a friggin cop running around like that kickin butt and taking names like nobodies business and she comes off as such a bad girl even though she's a cop. spwee!

Cammy! I'm a big Cammy-fanboy. Chun-a-lun, Ryu and Dudley are my other favs.

I usually end up going with Yun or Yang because I like their speed. But from the original cast, I'd go with Ryu.

i play ken and akuma they have the best combos but if im playing marVScap i really like strider hiru , and a guy named hyato their swords are waylay!....

I like Hugo from SF3. The big guy is hilarious to watch, and you get a huge amount of satisfaction when you nail someone with that Gigas Buster
