I'm looking forward to this games release given the recent advertisement of
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. After seeing this commercial I've noticed
that there were some 3D scenes featured though and I'm wondering if those are
from KH2. I'm also curious if there will be any new additional characters on the
Final Fantasy side of the roster. If anyone could answer these questions it
would be nice otherwise feel free to enjoy discussing the game itself.

Advance graphics. I'm playing it right now and so far theres no new Final
Fantasy characters in it. Only new characters are from KH itself not from Disney
nor Final Fantasy. I'm waiting for KH2, cant wait till it comes out. =) Fall
2005 I'm guessing. Go play Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, it has a lot of
new additions to the story and gameplay.
I'm not too sure about any new additions other than a select few charactors in
the black robes and the kid that likda looks like Sora. I could tell ya more but
I kinda fell behind on keeping up to date with the game cause of it's long drawn
out release date. Sucks that it wont be released until next Dec.
I kind of need the time to save up for it so its a breather for me. Same thing
with a lot of other games that have yet to be released some that will probably
be a lot harder to get than KH2 plus I need another memory card too . So on
a brighter note it buys me some time.
well we are going to have to wait for kh2 but we have CoM to entretain ourselves
the stroy is pretty good but the worlds are the same as the first one and the
card battle sistem is really cool
I love KH!! And, I can't wait for KH2! Man! I wish I could play CoM, but I
don't have a GBA...and as far as I know, there are some Final Fantasy Characters
in KH2..in KH2 (stop reading if you don't wanna know) I think there's Auron
from FFX!
I have seen numerous screencaps of kh2.... I'm pretty sure Auron is in it since
I have seen him in some of the screencaps. I haven't heard of any other FF
characters that will appear in KH2.
The thing that really has me excited about KH2 is the Transformation Drive. It's
kinda like fusion from Dragon Ball. I was reading about how in the demo, Sora
can absorb Goofy, and become this dual keyblade-wielding badass. Dear god... it
better come out soon.

game CoM looks like it could be a blast, but I'll probably wait a couple of
months before picking it up, I do have a whole year before KH2 comes

i saw a trailer for it, and it looked ultra-mad! It had this guy blind-folded
fighting another in a cloak
Mickey was even in there (looking hardcore) for a millisecond
His hairstyle definitely looks Cloudish... Considering that its produced by
Square as well, its understandable that FF elements may affect how Sora looks

It does look enticing, but first I would have to get me a GBA SP or a GBA but an SP would be nifty.

the release date for KH2 is 9/14/05 (or 15. not sure) pray that they change it.

Btw is this canon to the storyline presented in first game or is it a stand alone story, for CoM that is?

Call it wishful thinking but Rinoa would be a nice addition to the featured Final Fantasy cast, Tifa wouldn't hurt either.

the battling got really tedious in the 2nd half of the 1st KH
That is interesting to hear. Like starting at which boss exactly was it tedious for you?
the bosses were pretty good for the most part (except when u fought riku... when the freaking camera goes crazy on u =__=)
basicially when u own all the regular enemies just by mashing the attack button...
i watched some preview vids for KH2 and you seems to be able to pull some nice combos.

It's definitely not coming out.... At least in the US until September 2005, at least that's the date I know of right now.
I think I'm going to get a chip for my PS2 and hopefully be all-region so I can play the Japanese version that comes out in January.
Edit: Whoops! I just wanted to say, that I'm really excited about this game coming out... And Advent Children, but that's a different thread...
