tons of remixing.

Paul Oakenfold to name a small few
Some of my favortie Artist are:

Marly, Kyle Mingoue, Jamiroquai, Briteny Spears (Listen to the
"Everytime" Remixes), Jewel (Remixes), Robert Miles, Rockell, Sarah
McLachlan (remixes) , Sophie Ellis Bextor, tatu, ok the list goes
on...

Usually mixing or slowing/speeding up the tempo does this. Some artist might add
there own beats to properly transition into the next song. You usually have to
try some things.

This technique is called mastering. It some cases it might not even be possible
without 1,000 programs. But I'm a newbie in this too. You might want to just
create your own music.

I'm a newbie too, but that should give you a start. If you can, install Suse Pro
9.2 and play with the audio programs that are there. For windows, sorry I'm
giving up on M$. For Suse (linux) there are lots! Lots for create your own music
in Midi as well as Wave editing. Hydrogen is a drum beats creator. Muse is used
for a lot of music creation and editing. K3B is used for burn audio files to CD.
And many more programs I haven't even tried yet. You can go to each program's
site and they'll give you advice and tutorials.
