I've been thinking about how cool it would be to see a anime made into alive
action moive like City Hunter or Evangelion (yet to be confermed for sure). And
I thought Hellsing would make a cool movie hmm - I would get Robert Rodregez
(spelling) to direct He's a great director/writer. hmmmm that would be cool.
I'm not sure whether it would work turning anime into live action, but i suppose
Escaflowne TV series NOT movie) would be good... You could even get all the
people in Gaia to speak in english to differentiate the two tongues used (at
least this way it can be americanised for western consumption) O_o"
Does it have to be a series or can it be an anime movie?
I would love to see Spriggan done in live action. But if it has to be a series

That is true, but isn't that usually because they've thrown somethin' together
really quick, hoping to cash in on the anime's success? I wouldn't mind seeing
one if the production team really took the time to make sure the movie was good,
rather than a cheap rehash.
I don't think they should turn mecha anime into live-action films.... it'll be
extremely hard to take a mecha anime like Evangelion seriously since I usually
associate live mecha films with the Power-Rangers.... man that was the dumbest
show on earth :p
i agree about Hellsing coz that would be sweet with some excellent FX and crap
thrown in. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust would make a sweet live-action movie too.
In fact alot of horror animes would work quite well in live-action form since
we all know how much CG goes into horror films anyways.
There is an example of a live-action series based on manga (that was also turned
into an anime series) that in my opinion vastly outshined the animated version -
Great Teacher Onizuka. Onizuka doesn't look like his anime/manga counterpart,
but he is absolutely perfect in the role otherwise. It's an awesome show that
held my attention to the end, unlike the manga that spawned it, or the anime
derived from the manga.
It *can* be done well, if enough care is put into it.
I`m gonna say it would be Bleach. Nice plot, interesting characters and other
stuff that deserve to be put into live action ^_^ I also think Ichigo 100% would
look kinda cool with human actors (but where would they find so many cute
girls... ^^).

Oh i totally agree with Buford! I used to watch the show religiously on Phoenix
tv. It was a little weird coz it was a Japanese show dubbed with chinese but
twas still a great show.
Rather than make a live action movie, I would like to go to a theater to watch
the live action sailor moon TV show. I watched it in a small room full of people
I didn't know once. Had to be the best happy drug ever.
if only they would produce a gundam seed/destiny OVA in the version of FF7
advent children. i mean with that high quality cg and stuff. oo i can imagine
freedom blasting away with his massive weapons lolz
but if it were live action i would say ichigo 100% if they could find cast to
match the characters

hmm.. how bout Gundam Seed? Gundam Wing? Evangelion? Get Backers? How about all of them! hehe.. well if i had to pick one it would be gundam seed....
Gundam Wing would be hard to do and keep with the series...aren't the pilots(Heero, Duo, Quatre, Trowa, and Wu-Fei) all like 15-16?
