... Hi...

In the real world I can understand.. An example: United States want take over the world to eliminate menaces and devour the natural resources of the planet. Thus the 300.000.000 and more habitants of U.S.A have a very high life standard...

But in the Anime/Cartoon world I can't understand.... the bad guys want take over the world but never give a justification....

mmm, which bad guy in particular are you talking about?

wunjo!

Doesn't he just wand to rule em all! be the king of the world! (becouse he/she has a big ego) and wants to be most important person so he can do whatever he wants with it?

Quite simple: for the good guys to have something to do :D .

We don't need to justify ourselfs to mere mortals.
Cows say "mooh", why do you accept that without questioning? ..... why, i'll tell ya why: because it's an accepted fact.

So why do we need to take over the world... figure it out for yourself.

mmmz, execution at 10, hairdresser at 10:30 ... gonna be busy tomorrow.

hahahahahahaha, thats a good way to say it...

wunjo!

Maybe its the biggest thing they can actually take over, and theres only 1 of them.

Actually, the universe is planned in for next month...

Well, in Magic Knight Rayearth, Zagato did it for love.

In Bastard!!, Dark Schneider did it 'cause of his huge ego (and libido, I guess).

I guess the usual reason would just be ego, y'know? The really memorable villains always have a reason, though :)

There can be alot of reason why it all depeds on what motivates that character

The want to be stronger and powerfuler than the person next to them in someway or another. Maybe.... ._.

Don't you wanna take over the world? Imagine the power trip!

Never forget that sometimes the evil guy tries to take over the world believing he/she is doing a good thing, and they are motivated by an ideal. Take Magneto from the X-Men, for example.

Wow - crazy answers... **Shakes her head in shame**

Some people do it for political power.

Think about a king as a tyrant who forces people to hail on him - have all the fine women he wanted in the world, hold all the riches in the land, and treats people as his slaves. Someone who is hated, but pretended to be well-loved, someone who desires power and ultimate supremacy.

True, that some people want to rule the world for this sort of matter. Other bad guys are doing it for some other higher cause. Everyone has an explanation. Some even ridiculously go further to destroying the world simply because of the fact that their lives are miserable, so they want to make the other lives miserable as well by putting an end to the whole thing.

Hence the Columbine Shooting from a teenager against other people at school. There's many reasons why - but most do have a reason you must likely figure out yourself. Anime and Hollywood tends to take this idea a little too far. In reality, there's always some kind of reason behind it, unless the guy is mentally insane of course.

And that's my answer here.

Why that i dum quetion XD HA HA HA
They do it because it fun and people have to do whatever he want XD HA HA HA
The power, the money, revenge, choas, sadness, hopeless, and contorl.
That all I would list and :( I know there are more but I just don't remember that much
