page 1 of 1

My friend introduced me to Korean-related dramas not so long ago. About around last summer. Since then I've been watching them aside with anime. I've recently finished watching a series. So, do you watch any asian-related dramas? If so I'd like you to tell me what it is.

I just finished Stairway to Heaven. I'm currently watching The Sad Love Story aka Sad Sonata.

Eh...I don't really watch them, except for when my parents make me or soemthing. My parents always watch them, like every night. My friends also watch them, but I just can't seem to stand them for very long

honestly... yah, I watched some asian dramas back then when I was still living in asia. :D It's kinda interesting in some way, the actors/actresses are like real life anime characters just because of their hairstyles (though mostly its black)... ^_^' I think most of the anime fans who watch those have the feeling that it is somewhat like anime... :x I think some of it are actually manga/anime based dramas, though I don't really like the heavy drama series'. I like the comedy/romance type... :D

I do. . . in particular, I like NHK taiga dramas such as Shinsengumi and Yoshitsune (currently on air). I enjoyed Meteor Garden (the original Taiwanese series) as well, though I don't usually watch shows of that genre.

I can't watch them. They bore me to death. Heh, how ironic. Considering I'm chinese.

Heh, yeah I'm watching Korean dramas. Er, not alot though, don't know why. Downloading Winter Sonata, watching Sassy Girl (don't know what the korean title is, maybe gweh gal choon hyang?), gonna watch Full House once I find the tape with the first two eps, and still need to finish love story in harvard....kinda sad to see how much I'm watching, and here I thought I wasn't watching much

I've watched Korean Dramas too. Autumn in my Heart and Winter's Sonata are both very good. I heard My Sassy Girl was good, but I've never watched it. Korean dramas are fun to watch but you feel stupid for watching them (in my opinion)because they are just stupid complicated love stories that would never happen in real life. But I still watch them. Too addicting. And too many hot guys. Like Won Bin. *sigh*

saki = korean! = drama lover .. *-*

saki ish watching bom nal~ XD XD sooooo gooooooddd!! andand .. another really great one is ... firebird .. >.< my favorite actress ... ;__;

I know alot about asian drama, which not only includes korean, but also japanese, taiwanese and cantonese~ Some of the dramas are pretty good, but others just plain suck with bad storyline and unconvincing characters >.<

Korean: Winter Sonata and Autumn in my heart is good. Most dramas with Jang Na Ra in them are either romance/comedy. A recent blockbuster Korean drama I've seen is Jewel of the Palace. It's quite different from the normal K-dramas because it potrays traditional Korean culture and it has a very complex plot.

Japanese: J-drama are better in my opinion because the plots vary and it's not always silly love stories with loads of angst and pretty actors. *I'm sorry romance junkies!*

Taiwanese: Ok, taiwanese have a trend of putting famous idols into their dramas, which turn into "Ou Xiang Ju". It's specially designed to boost the actor/singers career by letting the drooling fan girls/boys watch their fave idol in action, no matter how bad their acting skills are...*sigh!* One famous example is "Meteor Garden", which was actually taken from a Japanese manga. It features the boy band F4 in it.

Cantonese: Most Hong Kong drama come from TVB, which is sometimes annoying since you always get the same actors over and over again~ However, the plots have varying degrees, which can range from plain old police stories and romance to the supernatural and the business world O_o

I'd watched Japanese drama a long time ago. Now I spend most time to play video game.

Only watched GTO live action. Don't know if that counts but that's as close as I got (and the only one).

I tried to watch somethng last night but fell asleep, ha ha. Guess I just can't get into it. It's probably just the fact that I have to read the subtitles at the same time.

No. I laugh too hard during most of it. Sorry, but thats just how i feel. I get the same giggles as when I watch midget wrestling.

Im a chinese, and yea...I watch chinese drama and sometimes japs and korean drama.
