Zatch Bell is an anime that just got put onto Cartoon Network last week. I watched it and I thought it was pretty interesting, even though it sorta reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh. Anyways, I think the animation and art are pretty well done, but could use a bit of work. So, has anyone else heard of it?

not until i first saw it on Adult Swim. and it does look interesting though the voice acting could have been done better

Look up "Konjiki no Gash Bell". That's the Japanese version of the anime. Haven't seen it myself yet but heard good things!!

I saw the CN ads, and wanted to catch it on air, but missed it... I think that it sounds/looks pretty good though. ^^

I missed the very beginning of the first episode, but did they ever go into what exactly Zatch is supposed to be? He looks like an organic puppet (pinocchio would be jealous)

I watch part of this first episode. I didn't care much for it, but at the time, I was biased too, wanting to watch Gundam Seed or Yu Yu Hakusho at the time. However, if Saturday Night TV was as bad on the other channels as it was last weekend, I'll propbably end up watching it again.

Just didn't care for the doll look of Zatch. But the main character only being able to read cirtain sections of the magic book was a nice touch, from a Dungeons and Dragons RPG perspective.

I like the concept. The art was good, but at the same time, lacking...reminded me a tad of the art from Rave (in certain parts). The voice acting was the worst part. That's my only real concern. But, despite that, I liked it.

the manga just started in my country, it seems to be interesting... i saw some part of the anime and i think i won't regret to watch it and to follow the story

It's actully pretty funny in some parts...'cept I didn't know mouths could open that far.....

I do enjoy watching it, though.

Wow, everyone seems to like this show. I've watched it a couple times on CN, but I thought the plot seemed...well...stupid. And I agree with Karinka-ember, the voices could have been a lot better, especially Zatch Bell's voice, damn annoying.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. If you're going to watch, buy the original DVD:s or download the originals off the internet, the dub is HORRIBLE.

Oh, and yeah, the anime (the Japanese one) is really fun.
