In your opinion which is the best mecha in all the Macross series? I personally like the YF-19 avobe all followed by the Excalibur in a very close second place
i'm old school... so i still like the vf-1s... second is vf-1j... kinda simplistic.

vf-4s "Lightning iii" from Macross Flashback 2012.
Ghost X-9 for simple, fast, and kick ass.

THE MACROSS......there is this wallpaper I've seen in a anime shop that is just beautiful......

The mecha in mac zero come close, but that is cause of the beautiful animation more than then plane desing.
vf-1j. Im partial to the classics. But they are all still very cool.
I've always loved the vf-1s, but I like Plus's yf-19, and also the vf-17 Nightmare from 7
Zentradi Regult Battlepod. Soooo cool looking. To think that the pilots are that huge, too!

The YF 19 from Macross Plus.
I say the SV51 is the best
I am partial to the cyclones (more like power assisted armor than mecha) and the hover tanks.
It has to be VF-1S Valkyrie with Sumo Armor especially The Skull One. My next fav will be YF-21 from Macross Plus.
I don,t now who is the name of the Miriya´s mecha but that look good and is very fast.
I'm a proudly fan of the VF-1S, valkyrie of the skull squadron.I like this Valkyrie design and armement. The most powerful valkyrie for sure.
