Goofs
Just Not Plain Intellectual
What I like to see more in men:
Honest
Mature
People who at least keep their dirty thoughts to themselves rather than shout it
out quite often in public.
People who keep their harmones under control for once.
Men who respect the girls for who they are and gives them the space they need
for other personal reasons as well.
Are extremely kind and helpful individuals - those who hardly argue unless its
appropriate and someone who can take the blame for his fumbled mistakes, while
at the same time criticize in a polite manner as well. Someone who at least
thinks sensibly for once.
Have a deep understanding of what it takes to keep females happy and be there
when they need them the most.
Men who never take advantage of the ladies.
People with a great sense of humor, and a wonderful personality to
boot.
That's about it. Picky, I know. lol - But I never liked some guys in general.
There are exceptions, yes, but I fail to see these guys in a whole new light.

At least I know Mordin is a great guy. As to the balance, my ratio of friends:
95% Girls + 5% Guys. The 5% are the "Nice Guys" as you may call them -
and considering the ratio, they're pretty rare to find indeed in my estimation.
I know who the real nice guys are, and who aren't. That's called my extreme
cognition taking effect. lol - I have a good sense on these matters here. - But
that doesn't mean they can't be my friends, of course.
When you find a great guy - simple rule: don't lose them so easily. It's hard to
find some people like these in the long run.
Anyways - Apparently I've noticed more guys than girls here on MT. Why do I feel
like one of the only few girls being vocal around here? lol - And I evidently
chat to more guys here than girls, which is kind of weird against my trend in
real life. Must be me though.
I think that girls are definitley much better than guys. They are fairer,
cleverer, kinder, actually help people work through a problem and still manage
put up with so much crap that some bastard men give them.

That's tough to hear. I hate when some of your loved
ones betray you like that. Never would I expect one of my closest friends to
backstab me, but if that were to happen, I would know exactly how you feel. I've
encountered too many people who I could consider betrayers - friends who claim
to be your friends but aren't really there to support you when you need them the
most, especially when they talk behind your back when you least suspect it.

I am someone who doesn't like to separate people by gender, as I see everyone as

However, for the sake of the thread, I will say that I really don't think much
about the opposite sex as far as general traits that encompass the sex. However
I find women in general to be beautiful, graceful, elegant, etc, but not
necessarily smarter, more mature, more honest, etc. than men: It all boils down
to the individual...
What's a more interesting question to me is why I crave the company of the
opposite sex? Sexual orientation aside, I don't know why I want to be with a
woman. Not necessarily in a sexual way or anything...I just enjoy being in the
company of a woman. If I could have the exact same conversation, either with a
man or a woman, regardless of how attractive they are, I think I would choose
the woman. Women are just mysterious to me I guess, but as for a concrete

women are the most Emotionally unstable creature on the planet. Don't believe

I'm in awe of women because they are at the same time, able to nurture a new

Sorry if I made a thread that was harsh. Never ment for it to be that way, but I

The way i see it there is no difference between male and female appart from
biology (and stupid jokes). That is all. No one gets to chose what life they
get, but it is how they use it that is important.
Some guys may be compelete idiots, but then i have known may girls who are
complete air-heads. I think our culture today has far too much of a
gender-divide. I wish this was not necessay, though regretably i can see why it

If we are talking relationship-wise then I think men are a completion. They
have the ability to become the other half that woman may not know they needed.
Please don't think that I am saying everyone needs a man or woman to complete

I am someone who doesn't like to separate people by gender, as I see everyone as an individual, regardless of gender. I don't like generalizations :/
However, for the sake of the thread, I will say that I really don't think much about the opposite sex as far as general traits that encompass the sex. However I find women in general to be beautiful, graceful, elegant, etc, but not necessarily smarter, more mature, more honest, etc. than men: It all boils down to the individual...
What's a more interesting question to me is why I crave the company of the opposite sex? Sexual orientation aside, I don't know why I want to be with a woman. Not necessarily in a sexual way or anything...I just enjoy being in the company of a woman. If I could have the exact same conversation, either with a man or a woman, regardless of how attractive they are, I think I would choose the woman. Women are just mysterious to me I guess, but as for a concrete answer why, I am in the dark, yet again.
I'm sorry you feel so poorly about men celessa. If you could get past the hangup I think you could see them for who they really are.
back on topic, my feelings on the opposite sex ------- total mystery and awe. women are the most Emotionally unstable creature on the planet. Don't believe ask one any question about their looks, they will start to list every detail about how good this is and what they wanna change. then disagree with just one point,see how fast they either start to cry (because you "insulted them"), or get furious that you had the gaul to disagree in the first place.
I'm in awe of women because they are at the same time, able to nurture a new life(baby) and try to take one(baby's father). ;p lol
i grew up with 4 sisters my mom and grandmom,so I think I can safely say that my statements are qualified observations.

While it is true that females are incomprehensible, males are incomprehensible and myself just as so. Everyone is incomprehensible in their own ways in my opinion, and all that matters is being able to deal with them.

Girls who respect the mens for who they are and gives them the space

Are extremely kind and helpful individuals - those who hardly argue
unless its appropriate and someone who can take the blame for his
fumbled mistakes, while at the same time criticize in a polite manner
as well. (not "I hate you all, as 95% of guys suck. Being stupid, perverted, blah blah")
Someone who at least thinks sensibly for once. (but your posts shows thats not the case)
Have a deep understanding of what it takes to keep males happy and be
there when they need them the most. (so if porn makes up happy, we should have them)
Girls who never take advantage of the men. (and don't make us pay for anything)
People with a great sense of humor, and a wonderful personality to
boot. (as opposed to writing a rant proclaiming hatred for 47% of mankind...not tolerant or understanding at all)
That's about it. Picky, I know. lol - But I never liked girls in general. There are exceptions, yes, but I fail to see girls in a whole new light. Sometimes their behavior - and themselves - is just a constant utter disappointment, really.

I think you are taking Cel's contention way too personal, if you aren't none of the things that she said guys are, then you don't need to be so hostile about it. It is a matter subjective opinion, so I don't see the need in getting all work up over it. We all have a bias in our judgement toward other people, and Cel really believe everything she said, but it is just her opinion, and she is generalizing, she doesn't attack any individuals here in any malicious intent. Cel is Cel, she will have her opinion, but she doesn't single out anyone here. After reading your respond, your tone sound really bitter and you really try to single out Cel here. I don't see the necessity of that, if you have problem with her view just point it out. However, instead of a reasonable disagreement, you are turning into a bitter name calling respond. Don't take everything flow in the net to the heart, don't take everything so seriously.

I like females that are females and don't act like men.
As for the in some way " war of the genders" that I've been reading I think it' 50-50 to blame. Drak wrote about the person and to that I will agree.
But I have to defend the males side in saying that it's pretty hard to satisfy todays women.

You really could have choosen more appropriate language to use because I personally dont like to see profanity on a site where there are many young children...as mordin stated..everyone has their own opinions and you can have yours too but using profanity takes that priviledge away from you..though you may make certain points you also have lots of things wrong..such as "guy jokes"..the reason those are called guy jokes is because they are supposed to be for guys..most girls wouldn't understand them and think of them as just dirty jokes..just don't be soo offensive next time
now as my opinion for on the opposite sex...yes i know lots of girls are stuck up and high-matinance but there also a bunch of really sweet ones..though some can be deceptive..theres really not that much distinction between guys and girls other than certain organs..since all people are different..as long as you treat me kindly i'll do the same..though i tend to act a lil on my "male insticts" sometimes and come across perverted..that just shows my liking for you...no need for violence but ill try to watch my words...

The way i see it there is no difference between male and female appart from biology (and stupid jokes). That is all. No one gets to chose what life they get, but it is how they use it that is important.
Some guys may be compelete idiots, but then i have known may girls who are complete air-heads. I think our culture today has far too much of a gender-divide. I wish this was not necessay, though regretably i can see why it is. And as for the whole "perverted men" thing... i really hate sterotypes!
I agree with Drak here on this. Some guys can be fun while others are just plain stupid. And that goes the same with you girls......
If we are talking relationship-wise then I think men are a completion. They have the ability to become the other half that woman may not know they needed. Please don't think that I am saying everyone needs a man or woman to complete themselves. I am not. I am saying that as a couple, a serious couple, men and women become one, so in that sense men are a completion for women. Any woman (or man for that matter) who has found that one special person in their life would agree with me. I believe that the characteristics you may have a deficit in are strong in you other half. You balance each other out that way. Neither is better or worse than the other. Equal parts.
It is not okay. The problem isn't what she says about guys (despite being wrong on that count) but her attitude towards them. It is as if all males are devil spawn on birth and have to "prove ourselves worthy" or else we are worthless.
If I put in another group of people, say jewish, and make up a bunch of arbitary reasons to hate them, for example that they pray and me atheist don't like that, I'd be considered a anti-semite and bigot. Here is someone that that condamns 47% of all humanity in one swoop, how can this ever be tolerated?
Is goofing off and being immature a good reason for loathing? I'd think that the inverse, complete cynicism, would be a far better cause. In anycase, something like that is so completely superficial and would be me hating girls that don't wear skirts.....

Very caring, have very nice attitude, so trusted and dependable, whew...coz i feel more comfortable having girl friends, i love the way they talk, they are very mature, but they show their childish behavior.
