Any news about it? I heard they are making season 2......cant wait for its release........
the 1st season was fantastic.....and the ending was great too...but I wonder who is that standing at the door in the end..... is it Lucy or just an ordinary person came to visit????

I heard from my friend who saw it on a website....( forgot to ask him what website )
plus.... I think there is gonna be a season 2 coz I'm pretty sure that dictator like person ( that mad scientist's father / lab owner ) says something like :" it's only the beginning " and kept on laughing......and he's not dead ( i want him dead so badly for all the things he had done )

Well, I think this is only a rumor because the story was definitely ended. Continuing it would only make the quality worse. Elfen Lied is also based on a manga and the manga is on the same level like the TV series so the anime studio would have no base to continue the story.

(@ satan123 please don't make any spoilers concerning the end because some people could read it who didn't see the series yet).

i would hate to see it. i loved all the blood and gore but the story is just stupid. in my opinion

as far as I know... the manga isn't finish yet...the TV series are only up to vol. 7 and the manga has already gone to vol.8 or 9....so there maybe a chance that they make a season 2. ( I really hope that they will make it...as fast as possible )

I dunno if they can make a season2. If they did , HELL yeah. More lucy/nyuu goodness.
As far as i know, the anime deviate from the manga at some point and therefore its gonna be tough for them to continue it with a season2.

From a quick search I made, I read that season 2 is just a rumor.
And I would like it to remain that way...

I would have mixed feelings if, in fact, a second season was in the works. I would love to see more of the brutal slayings, death, and Nyu, but not everything that is popular needs a sequel.

I think the show wasn't ended yet....
