Ever got stuck and had to find walkthroughs for games? Do you use them often?
What Type of games do you use them for... Do you have any favourite sites that
you find your walkthroughs from? or do you buy your walkthrough guides?
I only use faq's from gamesfaq. When I play a game for the first time I do not
use any of these ones, but on my second try I use these, 'cause I want to get
all the secrets and so on.
But I don't buy any of thesse walkthroughs.. too expensive ><
Nope, I don't use any at all. Gamefaqs is the way to get the most secrets out of
the game, and I have to admit that sometimes, there are secrets so impossible to
find, that you'll have to look over one there yourself.
I only check it out perhaps on games that I really like, to see if they have
secret endings you can unlock and all that. For easy games like Kingdom Hearts,
and Front Mission 4, I never had to use it there and I still get all the
secrets. ^_^ For tougher games like Fatal Frame II and other adventure games
that I liked and I wanted to figure out all the tougher secrets, then I might
take a peak for sure. lol
rarely i use walkthroughs but there is a old game...
chrono trigger
man i dont now how get all the final scenes
and is very hard to find all by yourself
so if you give me some help in that....
(i'm a old rpg fan)
Not to many times. Mostly for RPG games (like Baldur's Gate or Planescape
Torment). And it's not to know how to get through a certain part of the game,
but to know what quests I didn't do.
Usually I don't use Walkthroughs for games but that's cause most of the time I
simply don't need one, however if I do need a walkthrough I'll get it from
GameFAQs (I'm a regular on the boards there, mostly on the anime board)
I usually use walkthroughs for Horro games, some have puzzles I don't feel like
solving myself so I check a FAQ and get the solution, I also use walkthroughs
for the Suikoden games cause I want to get all 108 stars in them.
There's nothing bad about using a guide, as long as you aren't cheating using
guides is perfectly fine.
With some games, I want to get 100% of the items/secrets available. And rather
then wading through some RPGs for hundreds of hours on my own to find all the
stuff, I'll use a walkthrough to significantly cut down on the hours. 100%
completion rate on ffx-2, for instance, woulda been hell for a 100% completion
on one play through. One insignificant step like failing to sleep in Chapter 2
on the ship woulda screwed you up at the end. Rather then play the same game
another 60 hours to get the extra ending cutscene, I used walkthroughs at
Gamefaqs.com to help ensure I could get 100%.
As of this day the only game I ever neeeded to use a walkthrough was Legend of
Zelda windwaker. Why? I don't know I just did. Never needed them for any other
game though. If I did I usually go to gamespot they have walthroughs that people
create and submit.
Quote by Neverdonethe only time i use
them, is for rpgs. i'm usally trying to get everything. items, weapons, armor
and more.
Yeah, me too. I go to GameWinners.com.
They have members write in information that most people wouldnt know. You can
also get Walkthroughs and codes. Also GameShark and Action Replay codes are
available.
Since Gamefaqs has A Lot Better Faq/Guide than any other guide that sell in my
region.
But you have to wait a little bit before someone post decent Faq at Gamefaqs.

Just go to gamefaqs.com or gamefaqs.net and search the game you like then save it to your computer.

Walkthroughs are good, but only if you need them. Walkthrough magazines are good for really hard RPG's like Final Fantasy. i use www.gamefaqs.com
i don't use any, cause it takes the fun out of the word adventure for RPG-adventure game.
