hmm well havent seen it yet except for the promo so cant give an honest response
but to me it looks like a butchering of a classic. as others have said,
kurosawa must be rolling in his grave
I don't think the Mech/Samurai will work. Seems to me all money is going to be
spent on nice mech and a good Samurai honor story will be forgotten. I think
I'll stick to Champloo for my Samurai kick.
Ya i also think Mech/Samurai combi is werid..
Poor rice village employs a Samurai to get rid of mech..
Hmm.. arn't mech's invincible against humans??
Will wait n see the following ep to give a verdic
LOL, yeah I think that Mech/Samurai combo is a little weird. I was hoping for a
more traditional samurai storyline, but in a way this is also an interesting
twist. I'll have to watch more episodes before deciding whether I'll like it or
not.
The fact this would have anything to do with Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece work
"Seven Samurai" is a sacrilege. It should have been a standalone
project, not even mentioning Kurosawa's film. It's a bad idea, and can never in
any way stand up to what Kurosawa did first for the entire samurai genre and
Japanese film in general.
So wut does everyone think of this new anime?
I like the nice mecha and over-the-top samurai action alot. Story seems pretty deep and the characters are all pretty cool looking.
First impressions: Last Exile + Wolf's Rain + Vandread feel.
Who's subbing this series?

i really looking forward to this anime. I'm already a fan of samurai stuff, so i hope this anime is good too.
You can get it from Akeep/ANBU
I dunno... it's pretty weird. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. :|
Mech/Samurai is just strange (I thought hip-hop and samurai was!), but I'm going to give it more time. Right now it just seems.... I don't know
i didn't know it existed until now

I was wondering if anyone knows when the first episode will come out or is it already out yet?
The firts 2 Eps are out so far.
Well, can't say much after watching 2 Episodes. But I can say that it looks interesting, and there's surely a lot of potential in this series.
