I absolutely loved this series. My friend threw the trilogy at me and told me I had to read it. My favorite character is Sameth, thought Nick is a close 2nd. lol.

By Garth Nix? I read them a couple of years before, and they were not bad. But the second and third were a little patched of a proper plot, unlike the first. Needless to say my favourite character was Sabriel.

Nix is quite a decent author, but you should maybe try Isobelle Carmody; her works are really first-rate. ^^
