Eh... there really isn't any good tutorial, per se. You just have to find a good
scan for it, and then experiment. I guess getting some brushes over and above
the defaults is a good idea.

I don't known either how I do a wallpaper. It would be fun to learn it some day!
you really have to know instinct. go with what you think looks good.
what i find useful is that i make my walls using a variety of techniques. i good
starting point would be finding a couple of tutorials for effects that you want
to make. after you know them well enough, start modifying them to suit your own
styles.

i agree with that.. i think what matters is your skill.. ermm.. for me, even i
put a lot of effort, if my skill is not enough it's useless.. i still get my
wallies deleted.. (i do it from scratch..)
i also need some help..can anyone please tell me how to make walls..i need to
level up memebership sa that i can view some of the cool scans here..is there a
certain windows application or program that i need to download?if there
is,,please tell me.
hmm, i should think trying to make banners first would be good practice for you
to eventually make your very own wallpapers.i've never made my own wallpapers
though so i don't really know if it helps
Well if you're new to Photoshop, you should do a few tutorials for photoshop to
get familiar with the tools and Photoshop's capabilities. Then the rest is up to
your imagination and creativity ^^
Just find a good scan. Use photoshop always!!!!. CS or CS2 if it is
available....
But most important of all BE youself ALWAYS!!!.
Dont try to emulate someone, create your own style...
Tutorials there are everywere, and for me all says the same only you can
experiment with filters, shapes, etc... This is the meaning of ART, and
creation...
