Whicj do you use or like the best? I sue both and like both. How baout you? I feel weird doing this but who cares.

i use both. I like PSP because it has both Vector and Raster capabilites. With Adobe software you have to use Photoshop, then load into Illustrator to do any vector work. I also find Adobe user interface to be foreign and somewhat non-intuitive to learn. Not that PSP was that much easier! Photoshop has a much more professional feel to the brushes though.

lol.. i didn't used nether paintshop pro nether photoshop. I use The gimp, who's a powerfull software, and Free (gpl)

adobe photoshop because i don't like the fact that psp doesn't have layers (or maybe it does and i just didnt experiement with it enough?)

It has layers, but Photoshop is just simply the superior software.

I use both though. Paint is simplistic.

right now I'm trying to learn Painter 8. The interface is harder the PS but the brushes are better. Any used it?

I've always thought of PSP as the poor man's PS.
I used Paint Shop Pro for quite a long time until I got ahold of Photoshop. With the versions I've used, PSP is just like PS except there are a lot fewer options/filters/brushes etc. Also, I find PS's layers are far superior.

At first I was big fan of Paint Shop Pro yet after I get to know.. to learn about Photoshop I've started to use Photoshop..
General conclusion is that Photoshop is less user frendly than psp.. but once you learn it's ok.

I would have to go with Photoshop more fetures then PSP

actually. it depends how u want to make your artwork look.
if u want it to look computer solid style... go for photoshop.. if u want a painting style.. then go for paintshop pro.

actually. painter is a good program too.

I've never used Paint Shop Pro. I use Photoshop.

I've used both, but I prefer Photoshop.

I never tried psp. So i'd say PhotoShop.

Onli started recently using PS though, but I prefer to stick with PSP for the while,
Although when experimenting I found PS had lots more options!
I'm sure PS is better but less user friendly..although I think I will combine using both =)

Hm... Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro is good for starters, and it introduces you to Photoshop, but I think Photoshop has more capabilities and is overall much better than Paint Shop Pro.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 for optimizing jpegs.. does that count? It seems to have a better handle on it than Photoshop or PSP8 does, even. I use Photoshop for most everything else, however. Photoshop is rather difficult at first, but once you start knowing how it operates... you begin understanding how well thought out it is.

I have PSP7 & PS CS on my computer but I prefer to use PS more, because I personally think that the quailty is much better than what PSP gives O_O
