I just want to get a picture of what the average usage of thumb drives is. So, who's got one, and how big.

I have a SanDisk Cruzer Micro 512 MB that I keep a copy of all of my work on so I can use it on any system, Mac or PC. 512 MB is definitely enough to hold local copies of websites I'm responsible for updating at work, Filezilla (my FTP client of choice), Notepad++ (my text editor of choice), papers and projects I'm working on in class, as well as installers for programs that I use at work.

Even then, I have over two hundred megabytes to spare.

I do have a 1GB Cruzer Mini. It's much more efficient than a CD-R disk.

512mb Buffalo thumb drive for me. More than adequate for carrying files to and from class.

I have a Sandisk Cruzer mini of 256 MB. :nya:

512 Jogr USB 2.0 drive. It's completly protected by a thick rubber coating.

256Mb Apacer Audio Steno...
pretty nice for storing work stuff,
and can be used as a portable MP3 player.. nifty :)

i got a 256 for $20 which was a okay deal then, yeah it can serve as a portable mp3 player

I had a 256... left it in a computer at school and it got jacked. There is a disadvantage in those nifty little things ^^
