I think i like Final Fantasy X-2 better Because Thier animation Is Better.
And thier Story........I don't Really know i'd pick BOTH.

I like Star ocean 2 better coz it has lots of sidequest and you can have diff endings and characters.

i like ffx-2 better because thats the only one i have

Unless you're more into girly dress up fests. In which case go for FF X-2. SO:2 is so underrated. ;_;

I've only played it a little bit, but compared to ffx-2 it's miles better.
even the squel to it, Star Ocean 2:Blue Bphere is better, and thats for the Game Boy!
So I choose Star Ocean 2 by far!!!

IMO all star ocean games that I've played ...only 1 and 2...were better than almost any final fantasy game I've played. And i've played most all FF games. Star Ocean just offers so much more with their multiple endings, charcter specific ablities, and real time fighting system which is a bit like an action rpg.
Story Wise...it's a rather tough competeition....both hold up pretty well...and if anything I would say they are matched...but as for Star Ocean 2 vs. FF X-2....

Star Ocean 2. I personally enjoy FF series, but X-2 was horrible. It was my first FF to not hook me till the ending.
