Hehe...I know this is stupid, but I'm really curious. Who here is a brace face, like me, or was one before? Stick what you like or don't like about braces!

XO I just had my wires changed and now they're thicker than ever!! Ohh...and those stupid rubberbands...and those stupid expanders!! I have a metal one cemented in my mouth >=[. One more year of these metal things in my mouth and I'm free!!!!

i don't have braces but I want them 'x' i'm getting bit old though (23). but I'm doing dentistry at uni and I don't think people want their dentist to have bad teeth! *cries* no one will want to be my patient *weeps*

I have braces.. I don't mind them.. they don't bother me much except for each time I get them tightened. Then it's blah.

Lol novasonic, I dun think you're too old to get braces! One of the teachers at my school wears braces and he's like in his 30s or 40s.. 23 is still young if you ask me ^^

I had them. From when I was 11-13/14ish.

I have braces. X3 Been wearing them for almost 3 years now. @_@ It sucks, but I guess it's worth it.

The like..? Uh that I guess they align my teeth and make them pretty... the hate... canker sores, food stuck in your teeth, flossing, potruding my lips, eugh I have big lips already. Wires poking at you... and more canker sores.

x3 I don't think you're ever too old to wear braces.. What would you rather? Wear wires for a couple years and have nice teeth in the end? Or have ugly teeth for the rest of your life? I met a girl at a clothing store who was in her 20s and was all psyched about getting braces cuz she really wanted nice teeth. X3 It's not bad having them. It can be a pain the ass alot though. =\

i never had them! yes! although when i was a kid i had the worst teeth ever, then they fell out and my teeth grew in right

ive got braces, but they are speeeeeeeeeed braces... not working fast enough though, i had to get teeth pulled which is making it take longer ... orthodontist tomorrow so maybe ill find out how much longer i have left with this horrible fate :p

I had braces when i was a kid and a teenager. What I hated was the pain when they were tightened, it was almost unbearable. Also when stuff got caught in them(like my jacket sleeve) was a pain in the butt. The dam headgear and retainer sucked too. Thank god I didnt have to wear that headgear thing to school. Oh but the worst was going thru all this twice.

I had braces twice..... I had an overbite that was fixed in 5th grade.... and then they were straigtened in 7-9th..... Its all over now!!!! yay!!!

Hehe...I got lucky because I didn't have to take any teeth out It hurts at times when it's tightened, but it's weird, every time it's exactly 3 days later that the pain goes away!

High school...I got mine mid freshman year O_o Been a bit over a year now and my teeth are pretty straight. I think they're just adjusting my jaw right now with the rubberbands XO You people that don't have braces...oh man, I was gonna say something mean, but I can't think of anything lol

I had braces for three years, during all of my junior year. They were so annoying, especially when they kept breaking (no hard candies for so long)! Yeah, I had those rubber bands too, sucked when they broke in the middle of class and you have to wait to put new ones on cause you don't want to put them on in front of people. Flossing is annoying! It takes so long and so much gross food get stuck between them!

Anyway, now I'm free from them. Yay! But now I have those back braces but there're not as bad except that I have to wear them for three years. Yikes!

I've never had them but I need them I'll try to go for something transparent though.. I don't think I'd like people to see the metal inside my mouth.. and to make it worst I have to take 4 teetth out because I have no space.. and I need surgery soon for a wisdom tooth that's trying to come out and is pushing all my teeth even more together o_O ... this is a nightmare ><

if you are going to get braces, get the removable ones where you can wear it when you sleep at nite and remove it in the morning... (i dunno if they still offer this today though)

most horrible years of my life........umm......not really.....

but it was really bad.....espeically after they tighten the braces after every month....and it just hurts like hell.....

and there is this little brace thingy behind my lower front teeths..which will never been taken off since it's to prevent any future shifts in my teeths ~~

Eh?? I've never heard of this brace thingy...Hmm..interesting! I get mine off next year!!

I had braces back in junior high, but it wasn't so bad ^^;; It was only on for one year and no one really noticed them.. lucky desu~~~
