I'm sure there are simple explainations to this, but perhaps you lot could
help:
First of all, how do I stop gifs and jpegs from opening inside an internet
window/make them open in a new window? I'm really sick of them overriding forms
or typing on the internet page when they are opened.
Secondly, whenever i try to save an image, it seems to try to save as a bitmap
called untitled about half the time, when its clearly a jpeg or whatever with a
name. Why/how do i stop this?
Finally, is there any way to stop ? from being an illegal filename character?
RIght click on the image, and select "open with" ..You might have to
hold down shift or control to get the open with.... ...I'm on Linux right now
so I can't test it. ....Then pick what you'd rather be opening them with, and
at the bottom, select "always use this program (sic)".
However, I would recommend giving Firefox a shot. You'll find that it gives the
user control of stuff rather than the creator of the web pages you visit.
