I was thinking, with what's going on in SEED DESTINY. You think eventually
Athrun might become the new leader of ZAFT and might follow in Char's
footsteps(You know Char's Counterattack.) This was something I was thinking when
someone brought it up in a post.
I want to hear the opinion of the SEED fans about this little "What
if" Question.
Well, I can't watch GSD yet, cause I don't have it over here, but I do think
that he will be some kind of leader. From the episode summaries that I have read
and what they say about him, why wouldn't he? He should become the leader of
ZAFT though; it fits him.
And Kira is set to stop him, just like in Char's Counter Attack. I think they
should start trying to be more original. Seed copied the original up to a point,
if the story did get a little out of order of the original. To go for a Char's
Counter Attack copy would be in bad taste.
However you forget, ZZ Gundam followed Zeta Gundam. If we were to go by what
you're suggesting. Then wouldn't that mean there is another Seed Gundam series
in the planning stages right now?

If that happens I'll cut myself. Athrun is too perfect enough, and becoming Chairman of plant would be lame squared.
