Several times, botchii has stated that i have submitted a double, yet has never
actually pointed out where the double is. This time I went through, and tired to
find the double of something I submitted, yet I did not find it. Can Botchii
next time direct me to the double?
that's the thing... most likely they won't tell you anything, except 'you have a
problem'... and botchii never gives any real answers anyways, which is why you
don't know which 'double' they're talking about... pretty pathetic on botchii's
end : if she's gonna delete something, she should give a real reason, not crap

Especially when you accidently submit something twice without noticing and all
your faves and comments are deleted without warning...

Are you sure that you searched the whole gallery? there must be dup or else your
scans would not be deleted. I know it will take lots of time to scan through the
whole gallery but if you did not scan them all how can you tell that you didn't
see the same one as yours that was submitted before. The mods are very busy with
things around here, you should understand that and you can help by going through
the gallery yourself before posting any complain here. Don't take this as any
kind of offence, some of my scans were also deleted so I searched the gallery
and always found the ones that were submitted before mine. So keep searching,
you'll find it. Good luck then.

But sometimes she does make mistakes on deletions.....she actually deleted one
of my scans saying that it was already in the gallery but it wasnt....
I had found a wallpaper wich i posted in the anime wallpaper section under the
other sub section. I said that it wasn't mine and that i found it somewhere
else. But still it got deleted becuz: Mt is not a photo storage. But i just said
i found it online? Does any1 have and idea where i should have posted it? I hear
from more people that botchii has done some wierd deletions.

actually, your not supposed to be posting walls that arent yours. You should
only be posting your own creations. The owner also might pass by this site or
actually be on it and get super angry at the admin so its not a good idea to add
walls that are not yours.

Anime section is for posting your own work, I see that you've been here for a
while now and you don't know about that, it's ashamed that you didn't read MT
support, all about the rules of submission are in there. I suggest that you
come and read it before posting more submissions in the future ^_^
First of all, botChii never make "weird" deletions. Let me explain how
the system of reports works right now. There are over 50.000 items in gallery.
It is virtually impossible for mods to check everything (and I mean every single
gallery post which includes: scans,walls,doujinshi,abstract art). That is when
members and reports come in. If a member reports smth then a mod will get to the
item and check if it suitable for MT or not or if it is a dupe or not. Thus,
those are mods who delete stuff. And if anyone of us is processing a report and
making the deletions of i.e. a double we have to check and compare the two scans
(their quality - bigger dimensions not always mean better quality, the
description and if they are identical the date of submission). So as some of you
might have noticed botChii sends an automated messages. It is impossible for us
to include links to the doubles and even if it would be possible we still would
not do it as that would double if not triple the amount of work (can you
imagine a mod sending every member an "individual" report??? honestly.
there are over 100.000 members already! and many of them are filing dozens of
reports daily. and we have to process them all!) I do not want to complain but
please be reasonable!!!
The point I am making is that if you received a message from botChii saying that
it was a double and of lesser quality than it was so.

you do not know the category/title of the scan you want to submit there are over
90% chances that it is double
please browse the gallery before submitting and if possible ask other members if
perhaps they know the title/category the scan ought to go in. Also there are
some artists' whose works are featured in few different categories, i.e. Hyung
Tae Kim whose work you can find under his name and in War of Genesis and Magna
Carts

It's true, sometimes you don't understand why the hell botChii deletes your
walls, but you can always suppose, i.e. more than a half of my gallery was
deleted some months ago, and I was a beginer at that time... poor quality I
think. But sometimes the submit form didn't work that well (I submitted a wall 4
(four) times once, and all of them were deleted, undestand me, I was just
beginning with Photoshop ), and
that's why some people submit wallies twice (or more).
You said it was coz of double? Did you try using the search thingie at the

I drew something on thhe paint program all computers have and it was original.
She said it had signs of tracing. How can you trace if your on a computer!?

they receive, and if a scan is a duplicate or it has low quality, or a wallpaper
doesn't meet the minimum requirements as listed in the FAQ or even in the
following thread, then it's likely to get removed: What to do when botchii

previously submitted scan. Then you may juxtapose the scans. If your scan is
better in quality than the previously submitted scan, note it in the description
and then the previously submitted scan will get removed. However, it is up to
the mods and the admins of the site to add this code.

a person. BotChii is the string of MySQL code that sends deletion notices. ALL
deletions are committed by a moderator, who has carefully evaluated the
situation. If something is deleted, suck it up and deal. If it's a duplicate,
trust us - it's a duplicate. If it's for quality, check out the wallpaper
deletions thread and see - it's deleted because the quality was subpar. And
honestly...this had better be the last deletion thread I see. I'm going to start
closing them without a reply from now on; you should know all this already.
