I think it's called Tokyo mew mew. yes, the main character can change costume (like the one you see on sailor moon, wedding peach, etc) with some cat attribute (ear and tail).

maybe you should try Da Capo. I never whatch it, but seeing the screenshot, wallpaper, and many more, this catgirl very cute (I'm nekomimi fan too )

Watched SOME escaflowne and didn't like it because it was waaaay too much of a romance and nothing else... Sorry but i'll only watch a romance if it has some comedy in it... Even a catgirl romance is pushing it...

Catgirl Nuku-Nuku also stars a quasi-catgirl. Hyper Police has one of the most cat-like girls I've ever seen. Ruin Exploers has a catgirl magic user in it. Im sure I can think of some more older series with them if I mull over it a little longer... I'll chrip back in when I think of more.

Hmm.. all the suggestions are good. I'd personally reccomend Loveless, however it's mostly a cat-BOY kinda anime with quite a bit of shonen-ai so if you're not into that stuff you might want to bypass it, no matter how great it is. I personally adore shonen-ai, so it might be why I loved it so much.

I would definately go with Escaflowne. Yes, there's a cat girl in it (Meryl is her name, if I recall correctly). It doesn't emphasize the cat girl so much, but it has a great story and an interesting fantasy world. Worth the watch, imho.

hmmm, most of the series i know about have been mentioned, but...

I just got back from japan, and bought myself a CatWalk manga while I was over there. The main character has this kitty, but she turns into a catgirl and does naughty things to him occasionaly. haha. . Anyways, if you can get your hands on CatWalk you'd probably enjoy it.

Pink Pineapple (if you don't know you they are... you don't want to) made a short catgirl series called Dragon Pink, but be prepared for um interesting situations if you decide to watch them .

Aw, who am I kidding? If there are catgirls, there's probably going to be sex. That's just kind of the genre they've got going for them.
