anyway who's your fave character on the show Gatekeeper or Gatekeeper 21 and
show also it's the battle of Gatekeepers mine is Ruriko Ikusawa from Gatekeeper
and my fave show is Gatekeeper cause sometimes the original is better than the
newer one

some time ago, In our place... gatekeepers was available in a terrible local
dub
anyway...

No, Ayane's his daughter. Except Ayane hates her father, so she uses her
mother's maiden name and calls herself Ayane Isuzu. (Just who her mother is
isn't revealed.)
Ayane's also my favorite Gatekeepers character in both GK21 and throughout the
entire franchise. Sticking to just the first series, I'd have to say my favorite
was Megumi (many of whose character traits can be found in Ayane, down to the
fake glasses). Of course, that ghost girl (voiced by Mamiko Noto <3 ) was
interesting, too.
I vastly preferred GK21 to the original; it was darker, had a more developed
plot, better animation, and the utter lack of all the cheese that filled the
original Gatekeepers.
I saw both series a few years back. They showed G21 on g4ttv. The dub wasn't
that bad was it?
i think I prefer the original Gatekeepers over 21. It had more likeable
characters and the story was a little more interesting for me- even if it was
cheesy. My favorite character is the one who plays the piano- I forgot her name
Aren't they making another Gatekeepers that is going to bridge the gap between
the series? I heard about this a few months back on another forum.
Sadly I don't remember the names of the characters but I DO remember watching
some eps on Anime unleashed a long time ago. The chick with the glasses was such
a cool in the closet lesbian.

Which girl are you talking about the
one in Gatekeepers or Gatekeepers 21 cause if it's the girl on Gatekeepers her
name is Megumi but if it's the girl on the Gatekeepers 21 her name's Ukiya
Ayane.
For the Gatekeepers TV series, it's Shun Ukiya. For the GK 21 OVA series, its
that girl that can summon swords and the dark gatekeeper from the TV series, who
is now the new commander of aegis. (or what's left of it. Can't remember their
names, as its been a while since I last saw it.)
I watched it on axn too! my faves are Ruriko, Shun and Yukino before the airing
of GK21 there's another saga where Ruriko and the other gangs are 18 excluding
ruriko who is a senior then they had new memebers like francine but I'm not sure
and I never watched it
i watched gatekeepers on AXN too...pity AXN's anime section is so degraded now

agree....Reiji robot was more stronger.....but Shun father engine did help Shun
to defeat Reiji

i guess ruriko from the first series, and ayane from the second..
The thing I didn't like about the show it was too short.
gk21 was even worse, with only 6 measly episodes.
Sigh, even so, it was an enjoyable watch, not mentioning being my first real anime.
