I was just wondering how many of you out there had role models from animes or video games, who they were, and why?
Personally mine would have to be vash (as seen in my avatar) for his passion and neverending seach for love and peace, and also his strong sence of justice. "this situation is not equal" (vash, ep.3)
oh and also rei from Breath of fire III this guy is so cool and his love for his "family" is absolute.

I like Vash too, but my models are Heero Yuy (Gundam Wing) and Squall Leonheart (Final Fantasy VIII)

Their ice cold demeanours and control of their emotions is admirable. My temper has gotten me into trouble plenty of times over the years. If I had even a portion of their emotional dicipline, I could have saved myself a lot of headcahes

with me it is Kira yamato because he seems to closest to way I am just without the temper and I have been adle to control it better now.

I have my own style...

:D

Hmm..Naruto from naruto
cuz he dun giv up easily...

Yoh Asakura from Shaman King. i like is motto. Everything will just workout.

arg i keep hearing about gundam recently, it must be good (havent seen it yet.) im in the middle of watching through naruto atm, and i prefere matial art type animes to mech types, but i'm definatly gonna check it out now. thanks to every one whose posted so far, much apriciated. ;)

Sasuke is my rolemodel he shows me its ok to kill my best friend for power(just kidding) but he shows if you trust someone to much you are going to get backstabbed in the end so mostly don't trust anyone with your life

My role model is Takaya Aiba from Tekkaman Blade. I developed a respect for his sense of justice and self-sacrifice. Furthermore, I believe Blade developed realistic expectations on existence as he lived in the present and believed in the future. :)

Conan Edogawa/Sinichi Kudo from Detective Conan
So smart and skillful
