uh...i'm so sorry if someone already did this but i just wanted to ask which do
you prefer: the anime/movie or the books. i personally prefer the books cause
they give more description and you can read at your own pace...but the anime
allows you to hear music...so anyone?
I prefer the books (manga/manwha) over the anime. The books usually come before
it, and have more details 'n' such; plus, the art tends to be prettier ^^. And
I'm an on-the-go person, so I can take the books with me and read them, whereas
I have to be at a computer or television to actually watch the animes. The
music is cool, and it's neat to see the characters "come alive," but I
still prefer the books.

I totaly love the books more than the movies. And you're right, the books to
give more of a description! Books are my favorite things! This summer I'm
planning on catching up on some reading! Eh, I believe I've already read about
100 books this year! I'm such a book fanatic! xD
Books are definetly prefered because they are usually unedited and come before
the movie, although I think that watching the movie is a totally different
experience and shund't realy be compared
i think the books are always better because they carry out the story better.
but, i'm not a big reader so i always end up watching the movie/anime.
sometimes, if the movie is good enough, it'll encouarage me to read the book.
so sad, i go backwards.

imagination and it makes you want to read more and wouldn't ruin your eyes like

yeah books give you more liberty to see the characters and story as you want
where as movies the way the charcaters appear and act is set and can't be
changed.
books seem to get more indepth when it comes to a story and characters so those
are always good (like the Harry Potter movies vs the books, books are 10x
better, even though the movies were good too)...i never used to think like that
when i needed to read books for english ^^; then again, the only good thing we
read there was Hamlet...
oh, and i like the manga better than anime usually for the same reasons as above

i prefer books too!!when i read..the words moving me!and in the movie sometimes i dislike the characters' voice!

I'm a bookworm, I'd rather go for the book instead of the movie any day. But sometimes the movies are fun to see the imagination brought to life.

So far I think the manga is best..their more detail and well done. Anime can generalize and skip things.
