I live in durban, South africa and in a few days we are having the comrades
marathon. For some reason thousands of people from all over the world come here
to run about 90 kilometers every 16 June. My brothers doing it this year which
means i'm gonna have to do it next year just to stop the inevitable
boasting.
I was just wondering, are there any MT members who've heard of this or any
who've run it?
It was actually just a few guys who decided to run it after WW2,it only became a
national holiday later. it was pretty small for a while, when my dad first ran
there were 300 people. This year its estimated at 18 000.
