well, I wanna know the truth... most of us make wallpapers and then post them here on Mt, but waht makes a wallpaper special? where and how must be done!?
we all wanna be the best, isn't it?

It must be
- innovative = original (that means no angels, no moons nor similar cliches)
- background self-made
- showing the artist's artistic skills

Attractive design and not too clustered are what I want in a wallpaper. Of course, that doesn't help anyone trying to make one as "attractive" is a very subjective thing.

Time, effort, skill, brain storming, and inspiration.
