Hoee... I got the first three questions wrong but the last two correct. I think
it's because I've heard the last two questions before... I feel stupid... Nice

I rushed through these and missed two. That stinks. But, my I.Q. is calculated
to be 165, and I did get a 1360 on my SATs last year, on the 1600-point system.
I got the four primary questions correct, but got the bonus question wrong. My
answer to that one was that the blind man wouldn't need them in the first
place.
IQ is about as poor a test for intelligence as you can get... It is far too
dependant on current standards. What we need is a test which does not matter for
time or place but can work well anywhere for anyone and deals with survival, not
modern information.
Somebody who doesn't have a high IQ, but can tell you numerous foods which are
safe to eat (talking about stuff in the wild here, not grocery stores),
mushrooms and vegetation included, can put together a few salves to help with
infections, cuts and wounds, can hunt, skin and set traps, and can generally
survive off the land is probably much "smarter" in the long-run of
life than a person who spends their days behind a computer or doing engineering
work.
It would only take a single decently-sized nuclear device to send out a large
enough EMP to wipe out the entire electronic infrastructure in the USA, and if
that happens, who do you think would be more likely to survive until it gets
back up and running? Sure, the engineer may have a few supplies set aside,
canned foods and such, but when that runs out (and it will, probably before
supplies start reaching him or her from other nations and long before the
infrastructure is replaced enough to get food and water to him/her) who will
have the best chance of surviving?
In a case like that, who is the "smart" person and who is the
"stupid" person? The HS dropout who can live off the land or the
Ivy-League graduate who can build a space shuttle?

i was known to have amazing memory when i was younger and now amazing forgetfulness too...
