I've got to say I found this show to be just plain irritating and very
frustrating to watch at times. Maybe some people like this kind of humor where
the big oaf Harima constantly pines over the clueless Tenma and likewise Tenma
pining over indifferent alien boy, but it just aggrivates me to no end. If the
show focused on the other characters more I think it would have been much
better. That's the thing. Just when I was beginning to enjoy the show with all
the other characters, they screwed it all up by fotrcing the main characters on
us again - GAH!
i consider it a lot like Love Hina in that regard - immaturity of the main
characters run rampant; and the over-the-top cartoon shit. I pretty much liked
all the chatacters except the main ones and the ensuing stupidity that dragged
the whole story down with it. School Rumble was no different. Retardo-vision!
It's only saving grace then becomes the fanservice, which has become a cottage
industry in and of itself, like with Mai HiME.
