If you are talking about image on the content, then you need a image hosting
site. I would recommend photobucket. Then
after you have uploaded the image, type in the image code for the image.

and to upload the images...u just go to customize userpage layout and at the top
click background images^.^

For bakground image, you'll need to slice it. To do that, you need photoshop.
