What was your first video game console?

I first used the Atari 2600 (i think)...
Missle Command Is soooo fun!

Reason: Yes they can have Hard Drives, Anime games...

Reason: mostly for RPGs

Reason: i really have no idea why i bought this

i think my 1st game console was the super famicom , hehehehh

and i never got a console, since my dad's more to a PC... but later on, i paid for my own PS2, boy it was expensive....

Yeah. I stood in line to buy the PS2 when it first hit American markets.
I actually camped with my friends outside the electronics store. lol

My first was the Nintendo 64 with Super Smash Bros., which I bought after the PS2 came out. All my friends ended up with a PS2, so I ended up buying one.

Nintendo Family Computer, yeah, just it ! It took me three years to wait for a FC and finally I can own one, so excited. ^^;
I know that the first game console is Atari, but it's hard to find one in my country, maybe only you Americans would be easy to get it.

I'm pretty sure that my first console was the Nintendo. I used to play Battletoads and Sanke, Rattle and Roll alll the time. Actually, I think its still working up at my grandparents

Other consols to follow: Sega, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Playstation, PS2, N64 (needed a zelda fix ^^)

hehe...i'm not big console fan so my first one is the nintendo SNES which was also my last console that i owned....hahaha

I play just about anything, PC games or console games. dosent matter to me.

dude...i feel old. My first system as Nintendo and my first game is the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combination game that came with the system.

i got my ps2 just for the Final Fantasy series ^_^
othere games like tekken ans soul calibur 2 cant be found in other console too so thats also a factor ^_^

Hmm, my first system was the Atari 7800, first game probably being Pole Position II (which came with the system). Ah, the joys of watching your car go blazing down the road, veering off-course, smashing into one of the many Atari signs along the road and shattering into pieces.

Since then, I've also owned SNES, PS, N64, and PS2, the last one being the only one I play with anymore. So much left to do in Disgaea... :/

Old School NES,.. then it was the Sega Genesis..I so miss it..

My fist console wat the regular NES. I used to play Marios Brox. late at night after watching Star Treck. I wa a strange little kid. I think I burned up two NES's I used to play it so much. But hey my third one still works.

my first console was an atari ... dunno what type ... this thing with one red button left and one right and a stick in the middle, and u put cartridges into it loooong time ago ... after that i got a sega master system ... awsome memories *sigh* sonic, batman returns, sagaia, terminator, cool spot ... and then the mega drive, or how u call it in the us, the genesis ... sonic 2 was awsome ... fast, nice gfx ... probotector2, aka contra4, earthworm jim <- wow, good old times ... eternal champoins, another great game ... there were many more, but those were the best ... after that i bought the 32X for genesis ... virtua fighter ... man was this a cool graphic, amazing animations for that time ... so, 32X was not so cool, but the saturn was even more cool ... panzer dragoon1 and 2 ... i played panzer dragoon2 so long that i got 100% kill rate in every level, i unlocked all hidden features ... dunno how many hours i played that game ... and the finally the dreamcast ... i just say - dead or alive - AWSOME !!! sonic adventures was cool too ... as u can see, im was sega fan ... quite a bit ... but now im happy with my pc ... if i imagin how many moneyi spent in consoles WOA ...

I think I remember playing the NES when I was little. I think I use to play Super Mario a lot . Than I played on the N64. Now though, I play on the PS2 and GameCube... what a large jump in gfx. I don't really play computer games as much as I used to though :/ . Things have changed much in such a short time, if I don't say so myself .

my first was a A2600 too, got Missle Command and Moon Sweeper with it..

sega master system, if i remember right the only games i got with it were the ones that came built into the system.

My first was the classic Nintendo... I played Zelda on it... until the console broke down... Then... I progressed to a N64 and GCN... these two I still have! ^^;

I remember the origional nintendo, i used to play Double Dragon on it!
You could throw trash cans in that game!

Yea... I used to play Castlevania on it... 'Twas fun... It's a shame some people don't appreciate the classic games still... I mean I agree when people want to find games with great graphics but what happened to the classics that we all once loved?

Well, really, it was an old Apple computer with the green screens and the 5 1/2'' floppy's.

And an Atari 2600 and Nintendo. Really, I've had all the major game systems `cept the handhelds. There I only had a Gameboy Color.

Meh, I started when nintendo was out. Playing games like Mario Pinball and Super Mario Bros+duck hunt. Duck hunt, lol I remember that game, especially that ugly yellow zapper thing.
